Come explore two iconic locations, including urban adventures in San Francisco and wilderness adventures found in Yosemite National Park! We’ll explore some of the most famous sites in San Francisco; we then journey to the renowned Yosemite Valley to see some of the most incredible backcountry scenery in the park. This is a true bucket list trip!

Additional Information:

Getting to Yosemite: Yosemite Valley is a 2.5 hour drive from the Fresno Airport, and a 4.5 hour drive from the San Francisco airport. Reno Airport is a 3 hour drive from Yosemite East Entrance.

Itinerary

Meet with your guide at the airport of your choice. Today is a day to explore San Francisco, taking time to visit some of the most iconic locations in this vibrant city. We’ll spend the night in San Fran, giving us one more day to learn what this city is all about. Overnight: San Francisco
Today we’ll take the early part of the day to continue exploring San Francisco, and after lunch we begin our drive through Central California towards Yosemite National Park. Our night will be spent in the Backpackers Campground in Yosemite Valley. Overnight: Backpackers Campground
After relocating vehicles to the trailhead, we will begin hiking. Our route will follow beautiful scenery and waterways and take us to where we will set up camp for the night.
Our day continues after setting up camp with a hike from our campsite. We will take time at a few of the very best viewpoints overlooking the Valley. This is a truly amazing experience that the campers will always remember. Overnight: Backcountry Camping
Today is an unforgettable adventure as we leave our campsite set up and day hike on an excursion with incredible views into Yosemite Valley. This is a day of exploring some of the most iconic summits in all of the park. The hike is a true wilderness challenge but, by leaving our packs behind, we make it a light load just bringing our water and lunch. The views are phenomenal! Our final night in the backcountry will be spent relaxing by the running water while we stargaze and enjoy our last night in the wilderness. Overnight: Backcountry Camping
Our final day in the backcountry starts early as we pack up and begin our hike back in beautiful scenery to the cars. We then return to San Francisco. Overnight: San Francisco
Today we’ll continue our city adventure. We’ll do dinner downtown before ending our final evening in California. Overnight: San Francisco
Our last urban day as we take in some of the most iconic San Francisco sights throughout the city. Fly out on the red eye back to home airport.
